About

My name is Wesley Najera and I am a junior at PACE High School. I am a Mexican-American who is interested in engineering, science, math, and medicine. I also like to play sports such as soccer as a hobby in order to work on my teamwork and team play. I am also in AP courses that put my academic abilities to the test. I am one that has a desire to learn new things especially in the sciences.

What I’m Raising Money For

During the summer, I am going to go to a Pre-Medical program at a university. This program would allow me to continue to develop my knowledge about the medical field which I will plan to pursue in college. Raising money would allow me to go to this program and get a chance to experience what it is like to stay in a college for around 3 weeks.

Why You Should Give

I have worked very efficiently throughout my high school career in order to become the first person in my family to go to college and graduate. My dream school is MIT and I wish to pursue biomedical engineering or medicine. This program would give me the opportunity to get me closer to achieve my goal of having a career in the medical field.
