About
My name is Abigail Antwi and I am a junior in Manhattan Center for Science and Mathematics. I am the oldest of three siblings and will be the first to graduate from college. As the first, I strive to be the best role model for them. Besides being the best role model that I can be, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and going on walks. I read to gain insight on different topics whether educational, spiritual, or even just for fun. I listen to music to relax after a hard day at school. I go on walks to reflect on my week and make plans to make the the next week better. Doing these things betters me as a person and sets me on track to be the best person I can be and the best role model for my brothers.
What I’m Raising Money For
Raising this money support not only me, but my fellow peers who have the same goals that I do. The money I raise will support my participation to travel to Latin America and immerse myself in a new culture. This will give me an unforgettable experience that will give me skills I will use in the future. In summer 2018, I'll be able to gain skills such as responsibility, independence and humbleness.
Why You Should Give
Having an experience like this, will not only make me grow as a person, but build the skills I will need for the next stages of my life: College. In college, I will have to learn to be independent and traveling on my own over the summer will help me achieve that. My success starts with college and I want my success to continue through out my life so that those after me(my two younger brothers) can strive to be even more successful than I.
