About

My name is Alliyah Speight and I am a junior at Boreum Hill School For International Studies. I am also a scholar at a college prep program called SEO scholars. I play basketball as well as flag football and within playing these sports I have become very interested with the human body and pursuing a career in the medical field.

What I’m Raising Money For

I am raising money because I have the chance to participate in a six week summer internship in which i will be shadowing a doctor and deepening my knowledge in medicine. I will gain skills such as problem solving, on-the-foot thinking, and independence.The money I will raise will go to the cost in paying for this program.

Why You Should Give

By participating in this program I will be able to get one step closer to reaching my goal of becoming a doctor. I will learn a lot of information that will put me one step ahead of the competitive field of medicine. I will be able to figure out if becoming a doctor is something that I actually want to be and determine if I have what I takes to make in the field.
