About
My name is Taylor Amoafo. I am a junior at the Manhattan Center for Science and Mathematics. I aspire to become a pediatrician in the future. With the help of SEO, an eight-year rigorous extracurricular academic program for motivated low-income public high school students, I am confident in achieving this goal.
What I’m Raising Money For
This summer I will be traveling to Missouri where I will be studying Philosophy, Neuroscience, and Psychology. I will be asking philosophical questions, exploring psychology with a particular focus on mental health and the intersection between mental illness and morality and learn the burgeoning field of neuroscience. Your generous donations will give me the opportunity to have the experience of a lifetime.
Why You Should Give
Throughout my life, I grew up in the city that never sleeps but never had the opportunity to travel outside it. This program will allow me to explore outside my comfort zone and embrace new challenges amongst a diverse crowd of people from all walks of life and locations around the world. I will broaden my horizons in the world that I have yet to see.
