About

SEO Scholars is a free eight-year academic program that gets underserved public high school students to and through college—with a 90% college graduation rate.

By the end of high school, SEO Scholars gain a year and a half of additional instruction in math and two and a half years of additional instruction in English.

100% of SEO Scholars are accepted to four-year colleges.

What I’m Raising Money For

The money being raised is going towards a 4 week Pre-college program at Skidmore where I will be taking courses in Media and Film as well as Latin American History.

Why You Should Give

During my time there, I'll be able to embed myself into the college campus life and have a hands on experience in two college classes. Because I've lived in the Bronx my whole life, going and living on campus is exciting and offers a once in a life time experience. Additionally it’ll help me become responsible and help me learn how to look out for myself. By being alone and away from my family, I will slowly learn how to become independent, which is something you have to be in college and In the real world.
