About

Hey! My name is Aldo Irving Robledo Garcia and I am a 16-year-old Mexican boy from Brooklyn and I attend the High School for Environmental Studies. Until I was 9 years old I lived in upstate New York where I was surrounded by nature and all its beauty. However, in 2010, due to legal circumstances, my family and I had to move to New York City. We left behind family, friends, our home, and most importantly, I left my connection with nature.

What I’m Raising Money For

I am raising money for the opportunity to experience independence, to help and care for the beautiful wildlife the United States holds, and to form a connection with nature like I had during my childhood.

This money I may receive will go to paying all the expenses of my program.

Why You Should Give

I ask you to give as a good student who comes from an underfunded neighborhood and one who dreams of going to a good college so that I may give my parents what the life they deserve. I ask you to give as a young adult who misses the grassy fields and beautiful scenery nature gave to me as a kid. I ask you to give so that I may have the opportunity to experience independence, to better my confidence, and to attain leadership skills which will transfer with me once I enter college. I ask you to give because I know you have the ability to create change by giving back to the underrepresented youth of America. I know with your help I can achieve my goal and whether the donation is small, big, or medium, know that I am thankful for it.
