About
My name is T'shai Robert. I am currently a junior at the Urban Assembly School for Law and Justice in Brooklyn, New York. I take school very seriously to the point where I've been on honor roll since the beginning of my freshman year. Academics have always been a part of me.
What I’m Raising Money For
I have been nominated to take part in a Pre-College Enrichment Program. This is a summer program at one of the selective colleges in Upstate, New York. Here, I'll be taking 2 courses: one of my choice (Cultural Anthropology) and a mandatory Writing class. I'll be immersed into a college environment by also living on campus for 5 weeks and socializing with the people I meet.
Why You Should Give
This program will prepare me for my future college experience. It will open my mind up to what it's like to be independent as well as give me the opportunity to show my tenacity and maturity to college professors. This is an experience that I probably won't be exposed to any time soon. Therefore, if I were able to go, it would mean a lot to me.
