About
SEO Scholars is a free eight-year academic program that gets underserved public high school students to and through college—with a 90% college graduation rate. In the summer of their 11th grade, scholars embark on journeys during the summer.
What I’m Raising Money For
My 11th grade SEO peers and I have gotten the opportunity to spend our 2018 summer doing one of four things through enrichment programs: travel abroad, attend a pre-college program, learn in a outdoor setting, or do an internship.
I got accepted to a pre-college public service program in Washington, DC for a month. During this month, I will be diving into government, politics, and public service to use the case study method, to dissect public policies. I will also be visiting Capitol Hill and meeting a few judges!
Why You Should Give
Some scholars will not be able to attend their programs without the generosity of donors, being that the costs of these programs are costly. These enrichment programs will give my peers and I the opportunity to attend a program that will change our lives forever and to gain an experience we may not be able to get any other time or place.
