About

My name is Siripan Manasilp. I am a junior at Academy of American Studies High School and an SEO scholar. SEO Scholars is an eight-year academic program that helps me prepare for college. I am an aspiring artist who has had a passion for painting and drawing as long as I can remember. I am especially interested in Baroque art.

What I’m Raising Money For

This summer, I will be traveling to Italy. I will be living with a host family and be immersed in Italian language and culture. I am raising money for my 5-week trip. Your donations will help cover my expenses which include round trip airfare, accommodations with a host family, medical insurance, and emergency fund.

Why You Should Give

Going to Italy will allow me to continue pursing my interest in art. Ever since I was young, I wanted to experience the artistic wonders that Italy has to offer. This program will be my first opportunity to do so. I am enthusiastic to see the Roman architecture, Baroque paintings, and Michelangelo's sculptures. Being able to see these works first hand will allow me to examine the techniques used and help me to become a better artist. By donating, you will give me an opportunity to travel, step outside of my comfort zone, learn a new language, and meet awesome new people. In return, I promise to document my experience and share what I learn with all of you. Thank you for your consideration.
