About
My name is Joel Salguero. I am a 17-year-old junior at the Digital Arts and Cinema Technology High school. I have a passion for cinema and anything film related. At the age of 4, I was brought to America from Guatemala - this sudden change in my life is what fosters my love for cinema and the wilderness. I often find that no matter the place, or people, I can always make a place home.
What I’m Raising Money For
I am raising money to help fund the cost of attending a 30-day outdoor leadership program in which I will be backpacking in Wyoming. The program will provide me with leadership skills as well as survival skills needed to thrive in the future. The program itself costs a lot. This program cost does not include the cost of travel, gear, and food for those days. This cost is something that my parents cannot pay for the hiking gear (backpacks, boots, etc) is expensive.
Why You Should Give
The program will provide valuable skills and information that I need in order to succeed in life and become a biomedical engineer. Every single donation, no matter the amount, will provide invaluable skills and an experience for me to grow as a person and individual. Remember, The best nation is a Donation!
