About

My name is Priscilla Agyen, and I'm a junior at a small all girls school in Brooklyn called the Urban Assembly school for Criminal justice. I'm very passionate about getting involved in my school community and trying to come up with ways to bring the students and staff in my school closer together. I am currently the vice president of my school's student government, president of my school's good will club, and a student representative in my school's student leadership team. In the past I have helped organize and run various events such as a karaoke night, food drive, and end of semester crunch night.

What I’m Raising Money For

Through the SEO scholars program, I've been given the opportunity to take a college credit course at Northwestern University in Economics.This will not only allow me to get a jump start on the classes that I would have to take in college to pursue a potential career in business management or finance, but it would help me to acclimate myself with the college environment early on, thus better situating myself for success in college. With a degree in finance or business management, I aim to work for a non profit organization to help support children in low income communities reach success just as SEO has done with me.

Your contributions will be used to cover aspects of my trip to Northwestern University that my financial aid does not cover such as flight expenses, room and board, and the cost of my books.
