About

My name is Siriporn Manasilp. I am a junior at Academy of American Studies High School and an SEO scholar. SEO is an academic program that provides college preparation and supplemental coursework. I am also a member of the Giving Circle Student Club and NYC Youth Leadership Council Program. In my spare time, I enjoy reading novels and engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking, playing volleyball, and running. I also love nature. Additionally, I am a diligent and hardworking scholar who is always looking to gain new experiences and challenge myself.

What I’m Raising Money For

I will be backpacking across the Alaskan wilderness for 30 days this summer. I will explore its beautiful landscape; learn to work together on the trail; improve my leadership and communication skills; and learn survival techniques. I am raising money to help cover my travel and equipment expenses for the program.

Why You Should Give

I was born and raised in New York City. I have always wondered what it would be like to live in a remote and different environment. Going to Alaska for a month will allow me to gain a new experience. I want to use this experience to push my limits and challenge myself mentally and physically. Your contributions will help make my summer experience a reality.
