About

My name is Leonardo Perez & I am a junior at the Facing History School. As president of the National Honor Society, I have learned that working with others and setting an example to the rest of the community is a way of giving back to society. I have learned to use my role as a platform to show others the importance of leadership, service, and character. This summer, I hope to experience the life of a daily college student as I immerse myself into rigorously challenging academic classes. I hope to grow both mentally, and intellectually throughout the course of the break, and to use my experiences to further set a bigger example to struggling peers, or comrades.

What I’m Raising Money For

I hope to spend my summer break weeks immersing myself into a academically enriching environment where I can expose myself to many other people from a diverse background of students, professors, and college officers. Not only that, but in the spam of seven weeks, I hope to develop a series of interpersonal skills that will help me be a better role model to my peers back home.
