About

My name is Samuel Calderon and as a young Latino kid from The Bronx I have big aspirations for myself. As one of the few in my family aspiring to go to college; I want to study Engineering and International Affairs in college so I can make change to global communities. I see myself moving out of The Bronx and traveling the world and this summer experience could get me one step closer to this future as I cement my career.

What I’m Raising Money For

I am raising money to be able to participate in an summer enrichment program. Hopefully this summer with your contribution, I will be able to acquire a wonderful Pre-College experience at University of Rochester.

Why You Should Give

This Pre-College experience will be an eye-opening opportunity to experience life on a college campus. Not only will I be able to live on campus at a renowned college; I will be able to take rigorous courses at the school. Being able to have this opportunity is very important to me because this experience will help me understand what college life is like as well as getting a head start in my career. This experience will change my mindset on college and push me foreword in accomplishing my goals and dreams.
