About
My name is Aminata Diallo. I am a junior at High School for Health Professions and Human Services. I am interested in the medical field when it comes to aiding and nurturing children, specifically in Critical Care. I currently volunteer at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in the emergency department, and being there has been amazing journey. Additionally, I do enjoy babysitting, baking, watching medical t.v. shows and even a love for fashion.
What I’m Raising Money For
Through SEO Scholars, which is a eight-year rigorous educational program that helps students prepare for college and beyond, I've been proudly nominated to participate in a three-week college course at a University. The course is based on Kinesology and I'll be recieving three college credits, which is exciting! For this program, I will need to raise $300 to help with my expenses during my time at the University. With your support and donations, I hope to reach my goal to have an amaing time!
Why You Should Give
Having seen where my parents came from, with limited medical resources in Guinea, I've been self-motivated to study medicine, and become the first doctor in my family. The passion for helping children that are in poverty and are struggling has been my dream goal since childhood. This program will asist me in exploring new things in the medical field, meet new people that I can learn from, and most importantly to enjoy the new enviornment. With your donations, I'll be able to achieve my goal and would be greatful for any amount given.
