About
My name is Grace Amoafo, and I am a current junior at Nest+M High School. I am also a part of SEO (Sponsors for Educational Opportunity), a non-profit organization that helps low-income students get into and graduate from college. I have a huge passion for creating social change, and I hope use this passion when pursuing my career.
What I’m Raising Money For
This summer, for the first time ever, I will be going on a plane to travel outside the United States. If I raise enough money, I will be on my way to Nicaragua and Cuba on July 4, to study arts and social change!
Why You Should Give
Being that I am from a family of low socioeconomic status, I am not able to experience the opportunities that most of my peers get to experience. By funding my trip, I will get to have the experience of a lifetime, and I will be able to change the lives of others, as well as my own! I also hope to become fluent in Spanish, a skill that will help me a lot in the future. Every bit counts!
