About
My name is Alysha Witty and I'm a junior at Brooklyn Preparatory High School. I was born and raise in Brooklyn, New York. I enjoy running track, drawing, cooking, and attending Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO). I take two advance classes and many different clubs after school. I am interested in becoming an Architecture and an interior designer because I love bringing the beauty out in a house and challenges.
What I’m Raising Money For
This summer, I will be participating in a twelve day experiential program in Montana. Being from New York, I am curious about exploring nature and how I can help persevere it. During this program I will be hiking, learning how to gather food from fields, observing animals, and researching how to maintain animals in their natural state. The skills I hope to learn are adopting new environment, independence, and self sufficiency.
Why You Should Give
By going to Montana, I will be able to understand the world around me and how to make a positive impact on the environment and community. By gaining an in depth perspective about animals in their natural state, I hope to learn how to build a subsistence future for them. Montana will further my career by learning how to create an Eco friendly environment in the architecture world.
