About

My name is Jasmin, and I’m a junior at Eleanor Roosevelt high school. I have had a passion for reading and writing since Elementary school. I love reading and writing fiction, especially books or light novels that are based on fantasy! It's always helped me deal with stress by pulling me into another world. I have been an SEO scholar for three years, and I strive towards becoming better as a person and academically.

What I’m Raising Money For

I’m raising money in order to explore my career interests by participating in a summer enrichment program through SEO, Seizing Every Opportunity. While others are spending their summer playing video games, I hope to better myself through rigorous college work, getting out of my comfort zone: to break out of my shell as someone who struggles to socialize with others.

Why You Should Give

Throughout my time in high school, I have worked diligently in order to be a good student, but now I wish to explore what I am truly passionate about. So I believe that this summer opportunity will allow me to be able to both become a more social person and collaborate better in groups, and also truly understand my passions, strengths, and opportunities for the future.
