About
My name is Tianna Braxton, and I am a junior at Millennium Brooklyn High School. I am an aspiring STEM scholar and am part of a program called SEO, a rigorous eight year program that allows minority students to receive opportunities that will allow them to be successful in their future. I am passionate about learning and pushing myself to always do my best.
What I’m Raising Money For
This summer I will be getting a real life glimpse into college student life at an Ivy League University as I engage in rigorous academic classes for a three week session. As interested as I am in STEM subjects, I decided Chemistry will be the focus of my summer and I will have the opportunity to learn the foundations of organic and biochemistry. My goal by the end of the summer is to have learned the connections between Chemistry and human health.
Why You Should Give
I know that the next generation of SEO Scholars will be in the same position as me and struggle to fund their summers as well so I am working to fundraiser for the opportunities of future scholars, not just myself. By giving, you are aiding my peers and I to pursue our dreams in an environment that we have never been exposed to. Not only is your donation going to help us but it will also help those who I plan on aiding by means of community outreach.
