About
My name is Beverly Garcia; I am a current junior at Manhattan Village Academy and a scholar involved in Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO). I am interested in pursuing a future in either education or medicine while working with children. I am an active member of my school band, student government and Youth Ministry- a volunteer program at my local church.
What I’m Raising Money For
I was given the opportunity to take part in a four week summer program. I will be able to participate in community service opportunities such as volunteering at local orphanages/ churches. I will be staying with a host family which will immerse me in Argentina's culture and language. This will help me discover my passion for working with children.
Why You Should Give
With your help I will be able to further strengthen my confidence and independence which will benefit me in my college career. These donations will cover the expenses that aren't provided by the scholarship.
