About
My name is Ashley Rose. I'm a junior at Millennium Brooklyn High School. My favorite subjects are science and history because I like understanding the world around me and how it came to be. Some of my hobbies include reading, writing, and learning when there's something to be learned. Outside of school, I like spending my time with friends and family to make quality memories.
What I’m Raising Money For
I'm raising money to help fund a travel abroad program to Finland this summer. With this program, I'm going to spend five weeks with a host family with a goal of immersing myself in their culture. This will help me develop my leadership and communication skills as well as prepare me for the college experience as I will learn to be more independent and understanding of the world around me.
Why You Should Give
I'll be the first one in my family to graduate from college, and I'm determined to make this happen to make my family proud. After this trip, I will have come back with a greater confidence to meet my goals, and a stronger skill set to make that possible!
