About
Hi! My name is Cindy Baez. I have a passion for learning how the world around me functions. This has led me to have a strong interest in science and history. Through my exploration in science I know I will make a positive impact on the world and create history.
What I’m Raising Money For
I'm raising money to fund my attendance at a pre-college program. In this program I will be attending a class called Environmental Biology and I will earn college credit. In this class I will evaluate agriculture, water, pollution, the human population, and many other topics. I will also go on fun and inciting field trips.
Why You Should Give
Through this experience I will have a deeper understanding of the problems that plague our environment and what my role will be in fixing these problems. Additionally, this college experience will prepare me to be a successful and goal-oriented scholar when I attend college in 2019.
By donating to my fund, you will help me in my first step towards gaining the scientific knowledge I need to help my community. Problems like unsafe water and lack of proper medicine can effect any community, even my own community in the Bronx. It's important to me that I have a career in science because I can see the need for educated professionals such as doctors and researchers who are kind and giving.
