About

My name is Palden Bhutia. I am a current SEO Scholars which is a free eight-year academic program that gets underserved public high school students to and through college. I am determined to reach my goal to become a doctor. My hobbies are exercising and I love to play basketball.

What I’m Raising Money For

SEO, the program I am in, is currently giving an Enrichment program to 11th Grade SEO Scholars for the summer. My enrichment program is an internship at a hospital shadowing a doctor. From this I can finally see my dream and feel like i am closer to my goal to becoming a doctor and helping those in need. This means a lot to me because I will be gaining exposure to a place that is different from anything I am used to. Furthermore, your contribution will cover the cost of transportation, food, workshops, etc.

Why You Should Give

This internship will give me a chance to gain experience at a hospital. Also, this will help boost my pre med resume since I will be able to interact with many people and students who have the same goal as me. Overall, this internship will be my first big step into reaching my goal..
