About

My name is Al Bari, I am 16 years old and I am a junior in Academy of Finance and Enterprises. After taking many rigorous courses, internships, and afterschool clubs, such as DECA, I have discovered I have an interest in business and law. Furthermore, participation in these programs has made me realize that I like to learn about different cultures and problem-solving techniques used in other countries. I also take part of a rigors 8-year program called SEO Scholars where I learned how to be a more like a leader and ask for help when I need it.

What I’m Raising Money For

I am raising money to study international studies, political sciences and civil rights in Ireland. There I will gain insight into their laws and rights, while also learning about their rich history and how the country was formed from the inside. This will give me different perceive on how people think in different pockets of the world. Not only that I will be connecting with many more people that I wouldn't have the chance to before.

Why You Should Give

The courses I will be taking will give me an insight of what my future career will be. Also, it will give me exposure to what international studies will be like and what it feels like to interact with people from different backgrounds. Since I have never had the chance to travel, this will be an unforgettable experience and opportunity.
