About
My name is Liangely Aloyo I am junior at Hostos Lincoln Academy of Science. Outside of school, I am in an art club, and I attend SEO ( sponsors for educational opportunity ) an eight year program that helps low-income high school students. I love learning about history from different places all over the world, while also learning about American history and government that will help understand the country and apply the knowledge to the world I live. Also, I enjoy watching Netflix in my spare time.
What I’m Raising Money For
Since I enjoy learning about different countries, Germany seem to catch my attention because of its growing economy in Europe, how the country is growing rapidly after two harsh downfalls. This summer I am looking to participate in an Enrichment Program this summer by traveling abroad to go to Germany for journalism. During my time in Germany, I will be working with American students along with German students in the process of learning social media. Also, I would have a great opportunity in working with CNN.
Why You Should Give
The donation will be used to cover the expenses for the travel abroad program. With your help, I would be able to enjoy my time in Germany and learn new thing that would help me grow as a person. I will develop independence, be appreciated of the difference in culture, strengthen my communication skills and improve my writing skills as well.
