About

Hello, my name is Anchal Malh and I am a current junior at Jamaica Gateway to the Sciences and a 2019 SEO Scholar. Some of my hobbies include reading, writing, and baking delicious desserts. When I grow up, I aspire to venture into the medical field and become a general surgeon.

What I’m Raising Money For

This summer I have the chance to expand my knowledge in Spanish Language and Culture in Valparaiso, Chile. While there, I will be taking a college course in Spanish, where I will be fully immersed in the culture. I will also take cooking classes and tour Chile to better understand the people and how they live there. The money donated will go towards funding my textbooks and college leveled courses during my visit.

Why You Should Give

By donating to me, you will help me as the first woman in my family to attend college and gain a higher education. I will be able to master the Spanish Language, which will help me as I pursue a career in the medical field. Becoming fluent in Spanish will help me communicate with my future patients who do not speak English. This will ensure that I will be able to communicate fluently and efficiently to help the people around me.
