About
Hello! My name is Sierra Singh. I am 16 years old and a junior at Bronx Center for Science and Mathematics also participating in the SEO scholars program. I take care of my niece after school and lead one of the book clubs in my school.
What I’m Raising Money For
The money raised will help support my participation in a summer trip to Egypt. There, I will learn the role of Islam in Egyptian society while discovering religious diversity. In addition, I will learn Arabic. Your appreciated support will contribute to expenses such as airfare and this will help open more opportunities in the future through SEO.
Why You Should Give
In the current state of the world, I feel that it is important to understand different cultures and religions. By going to Egypt, I will be able to learn first hand the religion and culture. This will be a chance to educate myself culturally and socially. This will help me educate others. on Going there will help push me to new limits, doing this will help me learn who I am as a person and how I am able to adapt to setting that are different.
