About

My name is Zahlaya James and I am a junior at Hostos Lincoln Academy of Science. I enjoy dancing, cooking, and challenging myself to new things. Fun fact: I say more things in my head rather than out loud. Therefore, this summer I will challenge myself to break out my comfort zone by exploring the culture of Spain.

What I’m Raising Money For

This summer I plan to spend my summer in Malaga, Spain studying its culture, history, and language. I hope to gain independence and build my confidence, but most importantly, the skill of communication which will contribute to my dream career of a therapist.
