About

My name is Michael Abraham, I go to Bronx Compass High School, I am 17 years old and I wish to explore. I am a pretty introverted guy, but lately I’ve been trying to get out more, and get involved in more activities. I am interested in the field of computer science, cyber security to be exact, and I hope to pursue a career in that field in the future. I spend my free time hanging with friends or working out.

What I’m Raising Money For

I am raising money to go on a trip to South Korea to learn Korean, through a great program. The program is six weeks and I will placed in a host family who will help me in my crusade to learn this new foreign language. The money raised will help me pay for the trip and the necessary items I will have to bring along for the trip.

Why You Should Give

In the future I hope to pursue computer science and this industry is one that connects the world with one another. Through computers, phones, and tablets people connect with one another in ways that were dreamed about, but this ease of connection also gets rid of personal connection. It is easy to know about another culture, but experiencing it for yourself betters your knowledge of what people may want or need in this world. Our processes are spectacular, but every system has big flaws, through going on this trip I plan to learn more about the world and how I can help fix these problems and truly connect people with one another.
