About

My name is Iselle, and I am a junior dually enrolled at Hostos Lincoln Academy of Science and Hostos Community College. I am a volleyball player and a spoken-word performer, with an insatiable curiosity to learn. These college classes have helped me accustom to more rigorous classes, that are bigger in size than the one's provided to me in my high school. It has given me a view as to what I should expect when I go to college next year.

What I’m Raising Money For

The money raised will help support my participation in an enrichment program in Italy. There I will explore the history of the Venetian empire, and how its influence spread to its neighboring countries. Your appreciated support will assist with expenses, such as airfare, not covered by the program. Please don't forget to spread the word.

Why You Should Give

As a future first generation college student, I have tenaciously worked to be well-rounded in the arts and in the academics. I know that this experience will further my education, and in turn the poetry that I share with my community and the city.
