About
My name is Andre Scott and I am a current junior at the Bronx Center for Science and Mathematics as well as the SEO Scholars enrichment program. I enjoy playing basketball and free writing from on my spare time because it keeps me motivated to want to be better in life. I want to help serve as a guide for the younger generation growing up to make sure they stay on the right path in life.
What I’m Raising Money For
This summer I will be attending a pre-college program at an ivy league college in Rhode Island for 3 weeks, there I will be studying non-fiction creative writing as we tackle the social issues that we are faced with in today's world as well as dorming on campus and experiencing what the college life is like.
Why You Should Give
Opportunities like this don't come around often especially for minority students such as myself. This program will help me become not only a better writer but a much more mature person because I will be on my own for 3 weeks. Furthermore, I will be able to gain experience and information about the college life and relay that information to the young scholars coming up after me.
