About

My name is Lahray Rivera, and I go to Eagle Academy for Young Men 2. I play in my school band, and from a young age I've been interested in technology and understanding how things work. I also like playing video games and being creative.

What I’m Raising Money For

I'm raising money to be able to attend a pre-engineering program for three weeks in Missouri this summer. This program will allow me to get an idea of the engineering career as well as form a foundation for an academic pursuit of engineering. In the program I will be attending college classes for engineering and interacting with peers of similar interests along with professors.

Why You Should Give

Your donation is important to me because it would help me with traveling expenses not included in the scholarships. This will allow me to attend the program in which I would experience college life. The program will show me responsibility and life on campus, and create a foundation for my future major of engineering in college.
