About

My name is Katanae Green and I attend Central Park East High School. In school, I'm involved in two clubs Green Team (Environmental issues) and Class of Consciousness (Social issue discussions). In my spare time, I like to dance, act, model, and read books. I enjoy doing much to keep my self active and get out of my comfort zone.

What I’m Raising Money For

The money raised will help support my participation in an academic summer program in Saratoga Springs. Within my time spent there, I will be able to gain a unique experience that allows me to get an actual taste of what college will be like. For me, this means getting more opportunities to network and experiencing new people. I'm hoping to take two college courses and gain college credit. For this reason, I'm hoping your appreciated support will contribute to expenses!

Why You Should Give

As a teenager, I have hopes of attending college in the future to be successful. I imagine myself being on a school's campus doing homework while knowing many of the people who walk by. Moreover, my program in Saratoga Springs has been a dreamed place and I know it will be an experience that I will always remember.
