About

My name is Dayanna Larrea. I am 16 years old and a junior in high school. My favorite classes in school are Physical Computing II and AP Calculus AB because both subjects, Computer Science and Math, are what I am considering pursuing in college. When I am not studying, my favorite hobbies include playing the piano, reading, listening to K-Pop, playing sports like Volleyball and Soccer with my family/friends, and cooking. I am also a scholar at SEO Scholars, which is an 8-year programs that helps high school students like myself get into and graduate college.

What I’m Raising Money For

I am raising money to spend six weeks in an academic program in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at a private, research university. This would be my first time living on my own and I am excited about experiencing what college life is like since I will be applying and attending college in less than two years. It will also help me gain further insight into what type of college is a fit for me. During this program, I will have the opportunity to take college courses such as Computer Programming and Concepts of Mathematics, which connect to my long-term passion for both Computer Science/Programming and Mathematics.
