About

My name is Stephanie Alfaro and I attend High School For Environmental Studies. I enjoy science and math, I'm even in my schools first ever robotics class. As for clubs, I'm in my high schools Model U.N club as I have a passion for knowledge and always learning about issues in our world and politics.

What I’m Raising Money For

I hope to raise the money necessary to go to my academic summer enrichment program (EP) where I can not only continue what I love to do--learn--but also to further hone my skills in writing. With the funds raised I will be able to attend my pre-college EP, as well as be able to pay for room, board, food, etc.

Why You Should Give

This pre-college experience will directly help to prepare me for my future attending my college of choice. I will be more ready for my furture, and know what I want. I will also be forced to reach out of my comfort zone and experience a more intense course as well as be introduced to people I wouldn't usually meet, further expanding my horizons. With my gained knowledge I will be able to build connections and further my contributions to my clubs and community. Even if you can't directly help, just sharing the word is enough.
