About
Hello! My name is Samantha Lucien, a junior at the NYC iSchool and an SEO Scholar. (SEO Scholars is a free eight-year academic program that gets undeserved public high school students in New York City to and through college—with a 90% college graduation rate.) I am continuously looking to expand my education hence my constant pursuit of programs. The art of word and expression, Writing, is one my passions, and it gifts me with a balance between my academics and (uncontrolled) creativity.
What I’m Raising Money For
Through participation in a myriad of experiential programs, our scholars get to travel the world, explore college campuses, participate in immersive internships, discover their artistic passions and explore nature in places like Alaska and the Adirondacks. I am working towards funding my experience at a pre-college program, to which your possible contribution will cover the cost of transportation, textbooks, tuition, etc. More than just collecting money for myself, however, this money will help my fellow scholars pursue and live out their passions.

Enrichment programs are a chance for our scholars to leave their comfort zone, and ultimately help them build confidence, independence, and college-readiness. By lending your financial support, our scholars will have access to the experience of a lifetime!
