About

I go to Manhattan Center for Science and mathematics, and have been taught about the importance of the environment for most of my life. I am personally very interested in the way the world works. So in essence, science; the study of nature; understanding the world we live in. In order to be a truly good advocate for nature, I have to live in the environment that basically produced all the knowledge of science we have today. Even technologies that went as far as bringing the first man to the moon originated from the ground. To go back into the mindset of the first philosophers would be the greatest gift I could ever receive.

What I’m Raising Money For

I've recently been accepted in a nature program where in which students my age venture out into the wilderness to gain leadership skills in a new and challenging environment. Your donation would go towards transportation fees and the equipment to ensure the safety of me and my team members during the expedition.

Why You Should Give

Studies have shown that intentionally placing yourself in an uncomfortable situation promotes both mental and physical growth in people. I've personally met people who have gained similar experiences and come back with a more resilient form of themselves, ready to contribute to society and more eager to pursue all their aspirations.
