About

My name is Lennox Thomas and I’m 16 years old from Brooklyn, New York. During the day I attend Brooklyn College Academy and take college accredited classes. In the afternoon I attend SEO Scholars, a educational program for low income minorities, and receive additional support in Math and English. At night I’m a student activist apart of Teens Take charge. I fight to desegregate the NYC public school system and better society as a whole. When I’m not dismantling oppressive institutionalized systems, I like to hangout with friends, read, play video games, and analyze movies. Once I graduate high school I plan to attend college and major in political science.

What I’m Raising Money For

I’m raising money to fund my trip to Spain. As a Brooklyn born native city life is the only life I’ve known. With your help I wish to travel to Spain so I can meet new people, and develop global lifelong networks. I know that my trip to Spain will help me grow as a person and gain a new perspective on life.

Why You Should Give

Traveling abroad is known to broaden one’s understanding on life and help them grow as person. Unfortunately I, along with many others, do not the privilege of being able to travel without worrying about the cost.
