About
Hi my name is Christian Thomas I am 16 years old from Benjamin Banneker Academy. I am part of a programed called SEO Scholars which is a 4 year academic program which prepares students for success in college. Outside of SEO I am a hard working student who is aspiring become Financial Analyst.
What I’m Raising Money For
During summer of 11th grade rising senior get the opportunity to participate in various summer programs which include college , experiential and travel programs. This summer I will be taking part of a 4 week travel program to Mexico. During this trip I will be volunteering in a children’s hospital located in Merida. This program is so important me because I will experience a whole new environment that will help strengthen my ability to be independent which is very important for a young adult experience.
Why You Should Give
As a young person it’s important to experience something out of comfort zone and something that will change my perspective for the better. Volunteering at a children’s hospital and giving back to the community away from home will give me a glimpse of life when I go to college and beyond because I will grasp a sense of independence and work with other individuals from all over the group. So I will appreciate it if you can help me on my journey to success.
