About

My name is Brianna Marquez, and I am a junior at New Heights Academy Charter School. I am interested in the STEM field, volleyball, and activism. I am currently doing biology research at my local college in Harlem, and I am also known as the growth team leader at Teens Take Charge.

What I’m Raising Money For

I was nominated by my program, SEO Scholars, to engage in this academic enrichment program where I’ll be spending 5 weeks in Upstate NY participating in college-level classes. I am interested in taking physics writing classes at this college. I’ve been interested in taking physics since middle school since it applies science to real-life situations. I am genuinely excited to participate in a class that is not offered at my high school. I really hope to learn as much as I can through this experience.

Since middle school, I found science fascinating and I would love to apply my skills in these college-level classes.
