About

My name is Jayson Vu, and I'm currently a junior at Hostos Lincoln Academy of Science & I'm taking courses at Hostos Community College. I'm an active leader in my school's math team, and I have interest ranging from robotics to photography. I've been provided with a varied college experience from my professors and college tours of other institutions from personal research.

What I’m Raising Money For

The funds raised will be supporting my participation in a two-week enrichment program over the summer within a specialized high school in lower Manhattan. The program will be teaching advanced mathematical concepts, and dive deep into the future of math. It will provide abilities that would be extremely helpful during math competitions while also preparing me for higher level courses in mathematics.

Why You Should Give

I strive to learn and the materials offered over the summer program would supplement what my school lacks. I will be taking another step forward in the summer to secure my future while also using the experience gained from working with my peers, learning in a better environment, and pushing myself to learn difficult topics to further motivate myself. This opportunity would propel me academically into the world of mathematics, and any help from simply spreading the word to any size donation would be greatly appreciated.
