About

My name is Vicky Jiang. I am a current junior who attends Urban Assembly School for Criminal Justice. I enjoy studying forensics, listening to k-pop, giving back to my community, and doing things that will allow me to constantly grow and learn. I'm very driven, open-minded, hardworking, and detailed oriented.

What I’m Raising Money For

The money raised will be used for my Summer Travel Program to Ireland. In Ireland, I'll have the opportunity to learn about civil rights and social justice all while earning 3 college credits through Drew University. I've lived in NYC all my life and have limited exposure to outdoor activities. This will give me the opportunity to participate in activities such as kayaking and surfing while learning Gaelic.

Why You Should Give

Since I'm interested in forensics and criminal justice, I hope to learn about the criminal justice system in Ireland and apply the knowledge to my future career and what I can do to reform the criminal justice system in America. Additionally, I hope to experience a new culture and learn to be truly independent from my parents since I'll be there for 3 weeks without my parents while living in dorms.
