About
My summer program provides a brief introduction to psychology with a particular focus on mental health and the intersection between mental illness and morality. This institute combines traditional undergraduate curriculum with organized field trips, guest lectures, and small group activities in order for students to gain valuable academic and career experience. The program will be an opportunity for me to discover a new medical branch to come one step closer to my dream of stepping into the surgical world and or biological health works.
What I’m Raising Money For
I am raising money to be able to participate to the fullest on the course trips, classes, outings, physical activities, and guest lectures. These are all additions that will be of great help and assistance to the full experience and learning during the time of this course. Not only will I be enjoying my time but taking in the information I gain from the different experiences on a trip in a place I have never been before, with people I have never met before, and courses I have never taken before.
Why You Should Give
This enrichment program is important to me because of the opportunity and chance I was given as an NYC public school student to go away from my home for an extended period of time and study at a higher institution. This is not only helping me discover more of the career I love and wish to pursue but will help me in figuring out what I want in my future life and allow me to be the first in my family to have an opportunity like this
