About
My name is Sana Qaiser and I am currently a junior at Esperanza Preparatory Academy, located in East Harlem. I am a Pakistani Muslim student who has always been tenacious and willing to work hard for my success. I am trying to attend a academic program over summer 2019 to gain college experience before my senior year of high school.
What I’m Raising Money For
As a young low-income minority, I have always been told how the cards were stacked against me. My goal, as a result, has always been to rise above my situation. I am raising money to go to a college summer program, to further prepare myself for college and gain experience that will help me further grow as a person.
Why You Should Give
By going to a college summer program, I will be able to not only gain a college credit over a three week course but get a better perspective on what i want to study and what kind of college is a best fit for me. This program will help me walk away with not only a new network of people but with a more realistic approach to applying to college. By helping me reach my goal, you help to invest in our future generation and therefore a part of our countries future.
