About

My name is Aminata Kaba, and I am currently a junior at Pace high school. Three things that I am passionate about are reading, debating, and helping others. I have read the whole Harry Potter series, and I am currently reading Between the World and Me. I am a founding member of Pace's debate club. In debate club, we discuss important issues. I enjoy helping my peers come out of their shell. I believe that everyone has the right to have their voice heard.

What I’m Raising Money For

The money raised will support my participation in an academic summer enrichment program. While participating in this program, I will be able to explore different academic paths: such as science, technology, engineering, and math. I am looking to work with people who have a different background from me. I am excited to leave New York City and experience a different environment than what I am familiar with.

Why You Should Give

Ever since I was younger, my goal has always been to work in the STEM field. This will help me accomplish a long-term goal. A goal going into my freshman year of high school was to attend a summer academic program, which will enable me to grow as both an individual and a scholar. Thank you for your time.
