About

My name is Sadequn Nahar. I am currently a junior at Manhattan Center for Science and Mathematics. I am also a SEO scholar. My favorite subjects are math and science. Outside of class I am an active member of South Asian Club, and photography club. I really enjoy meeting new people from different paths of walk.

What I’m Raising Money For

Through SEO, I have been nominated to volunteer abroad and help the children learn English. My target countries are Morocco or Guatemala. I am looking forward to immersing myself in new cultures, and serve as a volunteer in a school, where there are little to no resources.

Why You Should Give

Programs like this will allow me to step outside my comfort zone and go out and help people. Living here, I am not exposed to all the crisis the world around me is facing. For example, the educational gap in third world countries. Going to this program will allow me to close that gap, and gain knowledge in different cultures and activity. I will get to meet and work with new people.
