About

My name is Jaylen Rowser. I am a current junior at Marble Hill High School for International Studies and an SEO scholar. I participate in performing arts; I dance and step. I also babysit my little brothers nearly every day of the week. I've grown up studying laws and watching a various amount of documentaries about law. I plan on pursuing a career in law due to personal reasons. My father is currently incarcerated and I feel like justice isn't being served. The effects of his incarceration have been drastic on my family. I've decided to direct my anger towards justice that can be achieved in the courtroom.

What I’m Raising Money For

At this Internship program, I plan on participating in a variety of different activities. I will participate in activities like workshops, job shadowing, and resume modification done by lawyers. This will give me exposure to a possible career path. It'll also allow me to get a first hand experience of what it's like to be in the courtroom.

Why You Should Give

This opportunity will show me how to adjust to a career in law, for example, by giving me an example of how to present myself, especially in a courtroom. I'll also be able to decide what type of law career I would want to pursue.
