About

Hi my name is Alishba Ahmad and I'm a current junior at Francis Lewis High school. I'm a student-athlete that is on the girls varsity wrestling team and is a part of an organization called SEO Scholars. Along with this I'm also in the International Education club and No Place for Hate. When I grow up, I aspire to be a doctor. In the long run I want to help out those in third world countries.

What I’m Raising Money For

Through the SEO Scholars, I was nominated for a highly competitive travel abroad program. I was accepted to go to Spain and learn about their intricate history. I'll be immersed int their culture working alongside other students in culinary and art classes. I'll learn about the language and visit different museums and landmarks. I will also have the opportunity to stay with a host family and learn about the daily life of a Spaniard.

Why You Should Give

By donating, it will help me be able to travel to Spain and learn about their diverse history. With my experience in Spain, it will help me personally grow and prepare me for the future. I will build my leadership skills and get a better understanding about the world around me. Also by helping me, it will benefit my peers to participate in their enrichment programs.
