About

My name is Louis Aquino, and I am a current junior at Mott Hall Bronx High School. I am passionate about educational reform, writing, and social justice. Outside of school I partake in many extracurricular activities like community service, college workshops and extra academic schooling. I am interested in exploring outside of New York City and immersing myself in different cultures and lifestyles.

What I’m Raising Money For

This summer I will embark on an incredible journey camping and exploring the Alaskan Wildlife. In my wilderness exploration course, I will travel the remote territories of Alaska by backpacking and sea kayaking, experiencing new challenges to change my out view of life. Your generous donations will help cover the expenses of equipment and gear rentals.

Experiencing a wilderness course will force me to become resilient, accustomed to challenges, and gain leadership skills.
