My name is Cristi Cruz and I attend Brooklyn College Academy High School. I am an aspiring neurosurgeon and fashion designer, and I love to write poems. I also enjoy reading and keeping up with the latest songs from Cardi B.
What I’m Raising Money For
I am raising money to attend a prestigious summer academic program in Saint Louis to study philosophy, neuroscience, and psychology. I will be spending 3 weeks living on a college campus taking pre-college courses and experiencing college life first hand. My fundraising goal is $350.00 to cover the remaining cost not provided by financial aid.
Why You Should Give
Being a first generation student to graduate from high school and go onto college, it is my dream to obtain the necessary preparation offered by an early college experience this summer. This academic program is very important to me because I want to set a leading example for my niece and pave the way for the upcoming generations in my family. Your contribution will assist me on my path to fulfill my goal on becoming a neurosurgeon.
